Scarlett is a multi-hyphenate science communicatoR, Illustrator & Visual Designer.

 

​

Her career has included working as a Science Communicator at the University of Cambridge, as a Space Communications/Public Programmes Presenter at the National Space Centre, and as a Membership & Operations Officer for the UK Association of Science & Discovery Centres. Her work also includes working as a freelance science communicator.
 

Scarlett has experience in video production, graphic design & illustration, digital content creation, project and event management, and social media management.

She has worked with a wide range of STEMM organisations, including charities, for-profits, research institutes, and universities. Scarlett also has experience in the education sector, particularly in supporting teacher networks and professional development, as well as delivering STEM initiatives in schools.

 

Her background is in genetics, environmental sciences, and molecular and cell biology - with a love for all living things! However, space science is a close second love, with a particular interest in astrobiology.

​

Scarlett using a range of tools and mediums to communicate S.T.E.M concepts. She has worked and completed projects as a presenter, writer, graphic designer and artist. ​​​​​​​
